According to a report published in the Associated Press in May 2010, pills are the most preferred contraceptive for American women. Scientific studies have debunked claims related to a decrease in sexual desire among women due to the intake of birth control pills. However, the increased risk of breast and cervical cancer is certainly a concern area for the US Health Department.
