Those who have never been in a life-changing accident have a hard time understanding the deeply emotional and permanent scars such events leave on us. But whether or not you have been in a serious automobile accident, the video below will make you cry.

Created by the Transport Accident Commission in Victoria Australia, this extremely powerful video plainly shows the before, during and, most importantly, the aftermath of vehicle collisions.

The public service video may be too rough for some viewers, but it is meant to be graphic. Although the accidents are staged with actors and use computer graphics, the images depicted are very realistic. It draws from events that occur every day on modern highways.

Watch it and share it. This deserves to be seen by all drivers while it can still do them some good – before they get out on the road.
