Computer Animation of Car Crash

This short animation of an accident illustrates the high level of realism available for accident reconstruction videos. Tools like these can be used to show details of a crash based on testimony and evidence from the crash scene. These and other tools can be used by accident attorneys and personal injury lawyers to present complex events to a jury.

The mystery solved in this clip was how the truck came to be damaged on the driver’s side while the car was damaged on the passenger side. The final position of the vehicles makes this difficult to understand without the animation.
